Nobody hands you the network
You’re good at what you do. You know you are, because you’ve watched people with half your skill get twice the work, and you’ve told yourself it’s because they know someone. It’s true. They do.
So you send the follow-up. And the one after that. You rewrite the same message four times, trying to sound busy rather than keen, because keen is embarrassing and busy is respectable. Nobody replies, and you tell yourself it’s fine.
Being good at what you do and being found are two different jobs.
I’ve been there. Months where the work was good and the phone was silent. Doing the maths on what I could cut before anyone noticed. Telling myself I just needed to push harder, when what I actually needed was a line to the people already looking for me.
Here’s what I eventually worked out. It was never a skill problem. It was a plumbing problem. The dots between me and the businesses that needed me were never connected, and no amount of effort on my side was going to fix wiring I didn’t own.
That’s the whole reason enterra.work exists. Not another dashboard. Not another ad platform that charges you to guess. Just the wiring.
So if you’re not winning yet, it isn’t because you’re not good enough. You’ve just been working with the lines down.
